The blog (World For All) will focus on sustainable development. My version of sustainable development is different from the version developed at the United Nations (UN). The United Nations version is that "development" not at the expense of environment. The themes of sustainable development (UN) focus on clean air, fossil fuel, renewable energy to reduce green house gases. My version of sustainable development is related to every day life. It includes, society, environment, and economy. But the most important thing is to link all these three sectors (society, economy, and environment) of sustainable development. The UN developed version is more inclined to enviornment and does not take into consideration economy and society. For example, today the Commissioner of RCMP appeared before the committee and was "sorry" for whatever happened to Mr. Arar due to RCMP's report. I call this action/event a part of sustainable development becuase the Commissioner was asked to appear before the committee. The highest official of RCMP. During the proceeding the Commissioner acknowledged that whatever information RCMP provided to USA was not true. At the end of the day the truth prevailed and Mr. Arar got justice. This is a part of sustainable development.
